Hulk Mid-Century Style Illustration

hulk mid-century style illustration

I’ve always been a big fan of the superhero genre. I grew up reading the X-Men comics in the late 90s, and I’ve been hooked ever since. This retro mid-century style illustration is my hommage to the angriest of them all, the hulk. I love how he’s just smashing everything in sight, with no regard for property damage or personal injury. He’s like a walking disaster, and I can’t help but find that endlessly entertaining. Thanks, hulk, for being such a source of entertainment and inspiration!

Hulk is taking a break from saving the universe and relaxes with a hot cup of tea and the latest “SMASH”-Magazine. He’s been fighting non-stop for months, and he’s finally earned some well-deserved R&R. He’s grateful that he can spend a quiet moment reflect on all that he’s accomplished.

A quit superhero afternoon

As he looks through the pages of “SMASH”, he can’t help but feel proud of how far he’s come. He still remembers the days when he was just a mindless brute, smashing anything and everything in sight.

But now, he’s one of the most respected heroes in the world. He’s saved countless lives and inspired millions of people. He knows that there’s still a lot of work to be done, but for now, he’s going to enjoy this moment of peace.
